The Ecological Society of Japan Journals

The three representative Ecology journals of Japan will now be jointly published from 2019, providing more insight to ecological studies delivered from Asia.

Ecological Research (ERE)

Ecological Research, which has been published by the Ecological Society of Japan since 1986, is the only journal from Asia that covers all fields of ecology. The journal publishes original papers on all aspects of ecology, in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.

Plant Species Biology (PSBI)

Established in 1986, Plant Species Biology aims to communicate and exchange knowledge and ideas on plant species and their biological aspects including life histories, population dynamics, molecular biosystematics, co-evolutionary networks among plants and other organisms, and mechanisms of speciation.

Population Ecology (POPE)

The journal covers various aspects of population ecology, from the individual to the community level, including population dynamics and distribution, evolutionary ecology, ecological genetics, theoretical models, conservation biology, agroecosystem studies, and bioresource management.
